Aerial photo of the week: Fort Independence

Fort Independence, on Castle Island, Boston. Early in the morning, after a harbor skyline sunrise shoot. Castle Island, once isolated, is now connected to South Boston and the Conley container terminal. Several forts have used this site, with names including Castle William and Fort Adams.
