Aerial UAV photo of the week – sunrise Nantasket

This aerial image was taken with the Inspire 2 drone UAV, at 400 ft, which is the legal limit. I am amazed at how well this machine flies. Best results when the wind is 10 kts or less.

New Boston Seaport aerial view

Sept 13 was a beautiful morning for aerial views. Great visibility, light winds. Flying with Taylor from Blue Hill Helicopters in the R-44. This series made shortly after sunrise. Camera is the Canon 5D Mark 3-SR for super Hi-Res images.

Customs House tower aerial clock centennial

The clock on this tower began ticking 100 years ago this week. The tower dates from 1915, and the Greek Revival building below from 1836.
